1. INC Ransomware Claims Air Côte d’Ivoire and Valgo SA Hacked

The INC Ransomware has announced that it has carried out a cyberattack against Air Côte d’Ivoire, a carrier operating in Africa and Europe.

Details of Incident:

  • According to the announcement, over 487GB of corporate data was leaked.
  • The data includes financial documents, contracts, customer information and internal correspondence.
  • The announcement also cited NDAs, accounting documents and project documentation.

2. Adidas investigates information security incident at third-party partner following hacking allegations

Adidas has announced that it is investigating an information security incident that occurred at one of its independent licensing and distribution partners, following a claim of unauthorized access to information related to the company.

Details of Incident:

  • The incident occurred at an independent partner responsible for martial arts products.
  • This is a company with separate IT systems from Adidas’s.
  • A person claiming to be affiliated with the Lapsus$ group posted on the BreachForums forum that he managed to penetrate Adidas’ extranet.
  • According to the claim, 815,000 records were stolen, including names, email addresses, passwords, dates of birth, company names and other technical information.

This is an incident originating in the supply chain, with an external provider having access to information related to the organization’s activities.

3. ShinyHunters group claims to have attacked car search giant CarGurus

The ShinyHunters attack group has published a claim to hack the systems of CarGurus, one of the largest car search platforms in the US and exposed a database of over 1.7 million records.

4. Ransomware attack on a hospital in Japan

Nippon Medical School Musashi Kosugi Hospital reported a ransomware attack that affected some of its medical systems.

According to the report, the intrusion was carried out through a VPN connection used to maintain medical equipment.

The NetRunnerPR group claims to have obtained personal data of approximately 10,000 patients.

The type of information exposed includes personal details of patients.

The incident was confirmed by the organization, and the ESIX risk score is 6.52.

Eurail B.V., the company that manages Eurail and Interrail train tickets in Europe, announced that passenger data was stolen from its systems and is now being offered for sale on the dark web, with a sample of the information even being published on Telegram.

The information exposed includes full names, passport details and identification numbers, contact details (email and phone), IBAN numbers, health information and other identifying data.

The company is still investigating the scope of the incident and the number of customers affected and has informed the privacy authorities in the European Union in accordance with GDPR requirements.

This is a serious incident that could potentially allow identity theft, phishing and financial fraud, especially given the sensitivity of the passport and IBAN details that were exposed.

5. The Dutch telecommunications company Odido reported a significant cyberattack in which personal data of approximately 6.2 million customer accounts was exposed.Newsletter platform Substack informs users of data leak

The information exposed includes names, contact details, IBAN numbers and other identifying information. The incident also affected its subsidiary Ben and was discovered several days after the intrusion.

This is one of the largest data breaches recorded in the Netherlands in recent years.
