The leak exposed contact information of customers who had previously contacted Adidas&#8217; customer service center, the third such leak the company has experienced in recent times after hacks in South Korea and Turkey.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The attack was carried out on a customer service provider in Adidas&#8217; supply chain<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Names, email addresses and phone numbers of customers were exposed<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The information relates to customers who had previously contacted the customer service center<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; No passwords, credit card details or payment information were exposed<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Adidas did not disclose the number of customers affected or the countries affected<\/p>\n<h3><strong>3 MEDUSA ransomware group adds 3 US companies to its list of victims<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The group is demanding a ransom of $100,000-200,000 from each of the companies and is threatening to publish the stolen information if they do not pay.<\/p>\n<p>The companies affected:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; RE\/MAX &#8211; the world&#8217;s largest global real estate network operating since 1973<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Presort First Class &#8211; a company specializing in design, printing and mailing services<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Bailey Support Services &#8211; a company providing catering and gourmet meals<\/p>\n<h3><strong>4 Arkana hacker group attacks British mining company Anglo American<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Arkana hacker group has published a statement about a hack into Anglo American plc, a British multinational mining corporation with revenues of over $27.29 billion. According to the claims, the attackers managed to steal 2.666 terabytes of sensitive information from the company.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The company operates in the mining sector worldwide and its website is angloamerican.com<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Arkana claims to have managed to penetrate the company&#8217;s virtual production systems<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The attackers claim to have stolen information from SCADA systems, which are used to control industrial equipment<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The stolen information allegedly includes documents, passports and confidential files of Company<\/p>\n<p>The stolen data includes details of Anglo-American subsidiaries such as Amplats and De Beers, as well as information related to the company&#8217;s business partners including BHP, BMW, Harmony and Rand Water. The attackers published examples of the stolen data to prove their claims.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>5 Spain&#8217;s Deportivo La Coruna football club hit by cyber attack &#8211; subscriber data stolen<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Spanish football club Deportivo La Coruna has issued a statement to its subscribers following a cyber attack that compromised the company&#8217;s systems and exposed the personal data of the club&#8217;s subscribers. The attack took place on Friday, May 16, and affected one of the club&#8217;s databases.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Hackers gained access to the club&#8217;s subscribers&#8217; identifying data and contact details<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The attack did not affect financial data such as bank accounts or credit cards<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Usernames and passwords for the club&#8217;s website or app were not compromised<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>The cybersecurity attacks highlighted in this report aren&#8217;t just incidents, they&#8217;re blueprints of the adversary&#8217;s arsenal.
